People Helping People: An Introduction to Christian Counseling

This six-week course is designed to help people who have asked questions like, "How can I help my friend who is hurting?" or, "What are the right things to say to someone who needs spiritual healing?" Attendees will hone their people skills to maximize the impact of their ministry. Led by Tim Stauffer, a licensed professional counselor, this course integrates Biblical principles to help facilitate transformational change while using the best ideas the social sciences have to offer.

Tim Staffuer is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in the treatment of sexual addictions, marriage and individual counseling. His educational background includes earning an MA in Clinical Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary, a BA in Psychology at Cedarville University and a 2-year diploma in Christian Ministries at Rosedale Bible College. In addition to his work as a counselor, Tim serves on the teaching team at Vista Community Church and is a Life Group coach. He and his wife have three children and live in Marysville.
